Kingdom Hearts is a third-person fantasy game that combines the worlds of Final Fantasy and Disney. You follow the protagonist, Sora, and his two friends, Donald and Goofy, on an adventure through various Disney-based realms, rescuing princesses and restoring hearts. For any true Disney fan, it’s kind of amazing.
For all those who don’t know of my obsession with Kingdom Hearts, I briefly touch on it in our most recent Vlog. Simply put, I’m obsessed… probably on an unhealthy level. For years (YEARS!!!), I’ve been waiting for the third installment in the franchise. Finally, it seems Square Enix is finally ready to live up to their promises with a release set for late 2018.
I’ll believe it when I see it, but for now, here’s the newest trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3. Enjoy!
On Monday, Michael Ausiello of TVLine.com teased something big coming from Netflix on Tuesday, October 25th. If it’s coming from Ausiello, the ultimate Gilmore Girls fan, then it had to be the one thing that Gilmore Girls fans have been missing in the run-up to the revival’s premiere on November 25th: a trailer. Sure enough, after months of stills and posters and onset photos whipping fans into a frenzy, Netflix released a two-and-a-half minute trailer of the four 90-minute episodes.
This weekend marks the premiere of the long-anticipated and highly mistrusted Batman Vs Superman. I, for one, have plans with friends and pre-purchased tickets to the show. However, I’m not expecting to love the movie. And I doubt I’ll even like it a lot. I figure it will likely be something like “passable.” I already hate Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (the trailer showed me all I needed to see) and Batfleck will have to work awfully hard to convince me he doesn’t suck. Reviews are already in and the movie is not getting much love. As of 9:00am CST on Friday morning, the film sat at 30% on rottentomatoes.com. However, this week has brought us some hope for the future of Batman films. Even if it turns out we all hate, detest and despise Batfleck (who has been given the next three stand-alone Batman movies), we now have at least one Batman movie we can look forward to in 2017.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, you know a new Ghostbuster’s movie is coming. This time around the team is filled with funny ladies (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones) and they have a hunky male secretary in the shape of a dressed-down Thor (Chris Hemsworth). The first trailer for the film arrived yesterday. Check it out below and let us know what you think. Will you run screaming toward the theater or away from it when this movie shows up on July 15th?
