10 Reasons to be Thankful for Harry Potter

by Taylor

It’s that time of year that we all sit down at a table full of food and say what we’re thankful for, like our health, being with family and friends, and Harry Potter. Yes, I said Harry Potter. The books and movies have long ended, Harry’s kids are all at Hogwarts, and we should all probably move on with our lives. But we’ll be there until the very end! While my Hogwarts letter never came and I don’t know any magic whatsoever, I do have a few things to say about Harry Potter. And by a few things I mean I could go on for days just about how Hermione carried the golden trio to victory… Sorry Harry and Ron, but it’s kind of true.

While you’re stuffing your face with turkey and fixings leftovers while watching football, and before you rush out for some Black Friday shopping, let’s talk about 10 reasons to be thankful for Harry Potter this magical holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving!

By: Dani

On this Thanksgiving Day, I just want to take a moment and tell you one of the many things I am thankful for this year. My fellow SisterGeeks!! These ladies are such wonderful people and so passionate about the things they love. We have such a great time doing this site for not only our followers, but also for each other. I love reading T Mack, Ana, Jen P., and Jennifer’s posts everyday! It is so nice to have found a group of women that are not only good people but also have so many of the same interests as you! It makes dealing with life much easier. We have the best time when we all get together and get to catch up and talk about all of the geeky shows, books, and movies that we each love. I have been exposed to so many new things because of my fellow SisterGeeks!! The Avengers, anyone?? My girls know they brought me into their world on this one! If you have not already, you should definitely check out our vlogs so you can get a glimpse into what one of our girl’s nights is like. Maybe one day we will post all of the outtakes so you can see just how much fun we really have!

My hope for everyone is that they are able to find a group of friends that they are able to connect with and confide in. There is nothing better than having someone you can call to not only vent to about life but also to fangirl about a half-naked Channing Tatum!  My SisterGeeks have given me a circle of friends that I will treasure always!

So to T Mack, Jen P., Ana, and Jennifer, thank you all for being my SisterGeeks! There is no one I would rather spend 5 hours talking about geekiness with on a routine basis! Seriously, how do we always lose track of time?? I hope that you ladies are having an incredible day with your families! I cannot wait for our next girl’s night in!

I hope all of you are having the best Thanksgiving today!Eat good food, take long naps, and enjoy time with the people you love most!!
