Hi, geeks! Spring has sprung! And I’m sneezing 50 times a day despite taking the strongest allergy medicine available over the counter. But in between sneezing, I’ve spent the month of March enjoying many wonderful new things and who better to share my favorite things from March than you lovely geeks? No one! There’s books, shows, podcasts, youtube, etc.! Get a snack, sit down, and let’s talk about some amazing things!
Fun fact about me, I love, love, love The Office. I watch The Office about 8-10 times a year. I never get tired of it. I am The Office expert. I know all the quotes, I hum the theme song to myself on multiple occasions, I have a Dunder Mifflin shirt, basically I am The Office Queen! I will take my crown and medal made out of a yogurt lid now (if you get that Office reference, then you’re going to really enjoy the rest of this article). I just love this show so very much. I watched it for the first time in my late high school years/early college years and I caught up enough to watch the last ever season when it premiered and I had to wait week after week to see what would happen next and wonder how it would end until that very last episode when I was a human pile of tears. It’s safe to say The Office is without a doubt, by favorite show in the history of forever. Let’s start this list!
Love is in the air! That means it’s time to talk about my favorite fandom ships. This list is comprised mostly of ships that are canon and maybe one or two that I just want or wish would happen really, really bad. Some of these ships are classic and so full of love that I still ugly cry when I watch their episodes when they fall in love and ugly cry even more when they get in fights. Ugh, it’s making me emotional just thinking about it. Let’s start with the list* before my eyes spring a leak.
*In no particular order
Also, this list may contain spoilers if you haven’t read/watched the books, shows, or movies these ships are from. Read at your own risk.
Thank goodness 2018 is over! I’m ready to accept all the greatness that 2019 has to offer and part of that greatness is reading as many books as possible! But before I can do that, I want look back on all the wonderful books I read in 2018. I was able to read 43 books in 2018, so this list is the top of the class. Not all of these books were published in 2018, but they came into my life in 2018. These books were the ones that made me laugh, cry, swoon, understand myself and others more, made me think, hope, and want to fight for a better world. These books stayed with me long after I finished reading them and those are the best kinds of books. Without further ado, here is my list of the top 10 YA books I read in 2018*.
