Things I’m Looking Forward to this Fall

Y’all fall is my favorite season by far. No, it’s not because of pumpkin everything. Unpopular opinion, but pumpkin stuff isn’t that good. You can’t even taste the pumpkin. Apples are where it’s at for fall baking and eating, but that’s just my opinion. Anyways, lots of fun things happen in the fall, halloween, lots of fall decor, the leaves are falling, you can go apple picking, and carve pumpkins. It is literally the best. But on top of all that fun, we get a bunch of fun fandom things! Like new movies, fall shows start to premiere, new books, and games! Here’s my list of all the things I’m looking forward to this fall.

Has Disney Finally Cracked the Live-Action Formula? Aladdin Gives Us a Taste of What We’ve Been Missing

Guuuuurl, let me tell you, I have hated me some Disney remakes this past couple of years. Cinderella was boring and forgettable. And Disney gave us what they thought we wanted with Beauty and the Beast, yet missed the mark (See my review of BATB here). But there’ve been a few diamonds in the rough. Most notably, Maleficent, with its spin on the Sleeping Beauty fairytale. I LOOOOOVE the mother-daughter connection in that film. I’ve also heard the Dumbo movie was alright; though, you’ll have to tell me, because I’m not brave enough to find out. (I cry ugly tears for that baby elephant.)

But then came Aladdin. And, y’all.

Y’ALLLL…

Everything I’m Looking Forward to in June

May is almost over and soon June will be upon us. And June is not holding back with the entertainment. There are tons of new books, movies, and returning shows making their appearance in June and this geeky girl could not be more excited. I’ve started to mark all these wonderful upcoming things in my calendar so I do not miss one amazing moment of anything.
