by T. Mack

It’s that time again, geeks… the season we spend way too much money showering our loved ones with crap they’ll love, but don’t actually need. If you’ve got geeks in your life, you’ll know that gift-giving can be an exciting, but nerve-wracking process. This week, I’ve got your back. I’ll be helping you find cool, but cost-effective, gifts for the geeks in your life. First up, a few things for Star Wars fans:

Geek Chic: Stranger Things

by Taylor

If you’re a Stranger Things nerd like me, on October 27th (and honestly every day until then) you’re finding someway to rep your love of all things strange. My bookshelves have just about every Stranger Things Funko POP and I proudly wear my “Should I stay or should I Eggo?” sweatshirt (complete with several animated eggos, because duh). Until October 27th, here are several Stranger Things items to hold you over or to wear during your next season 1 binge session.

For the cat lovers this poster is purrfectly adorable:

Geek Chic: AMERICAN GODS GEAR

by T. Mack

I desperately hope you have watched the show, American Gods. If not, that is a situation you really need to rectify. Now! The series is based on the excellent Neil Gaiman book of the same name (which I also highly recommend). I’ll have more on the series this Friday when American Gods kicks off my latest list of TV shows you should definitely be watching. In the meantime, check out some very cool American Gods gear from our favorite source for geek-tastic goods: Etsy.

Geek Chic: Alien Tattoo Chokers

Geek Chic: Alien Tattoo Chokers

by: Ana

So as you may already know, the 90’s have returned in full force in the world of today’s fashion.  Menswear inspired suits for ladies, thigh high boots, and baby doll dresses are the latest retro looks to grace the red carpet.  If you’re looking to re-embrace some of those trends from the past, but want to see a new, subtle twist on them-check these out.  I stumbled across them and thought to myself-what a neat, unique idea on a fashion favorite trend.  They’re those 90’s grunge chokers you know and love, but with some cute charms added for good measure.

Do you love all things planetary?  Then you may be a fan of this necklace that has two star charms and one little green guy hanging around your neck.  It can be found at the Etsy shop Qwelqwel

The cost?  $9.99, not bad when you’re looking for something cute, but rock inspired.

The shop also has a Etsy Purchase Guarantee (so you get what you ordered or your money back) and ships from the U.S.
