Every once in a while we all just need to learn some new beauty tips. Thankfully, Margot Robbie has us covered. It may have just been announced that the actress will not only star in the new Harley Quinn spinoff but she will also be producing it, but let’s focus on this amazing video that was just released by Vogue.
In the video, Robbie is acting out the classic scene from American Psycho made famous by Christian Bale. And it is quite entertaining. The film star discusses everything in her beauty regimen from moisturizing to working on the 6-pack of abs she was born with. There is also a shower scene, which I am sure makes a lot of fans very happy.
If you need a quick laugh to break up your Thursday, watch the video. It’s less than 3 minutes and it will bring a smile to your face! Happy Thursday!
What do you think about the video? Are you excited to see Margot Robbie take off the way she has lately?
By now most of you guys know that I really love to read. Like really, really love to read. I have more books that my multiple bookshelves can hold, which means they usually just get stuck on the shelf at awkward angles in my desperate attempt at trying to find a spot for all of them. Recently, I decided that displaying my books needs to be done more artistically. I need to actually try to make them look good. But honestly, I just do not have the time to figure out of the cute ways to make my book shelves look nicer. And I am just not much of a DIY-er. And this is where this week’s Geek Chic comes in. “Buffy, I’ve gone through some fairly dark times in my life. Faced some scary things, among them the kitchen at the fabulous Ladies Night club. Let me tell ya’ something: When it’s dark, and I’m all alone, and I’m scared, or freaked out or whatever, I always think, ‘What would Buffy do?’ You’re my hero. Ok, sometimes when it’s dark and I’m all alone, I think, ‘What is Buffy wearing?'”

Eek! I love when I get to share new details about the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I have shared several posts so far laying out all the important info. And now I have more to share. The Daily Mail revealed the 4 houses in the American version of Hogwarts, Ilvermorny! This is pretty big news because it gives a lot of insight into the school and it’s students. According to the Daily Mail, this information was discovered by pure accident by a software engineer looking around in pages of code for the Pottermore website. Continue reading →
Last week, I shared with you guys my review for the first installment in this series, The Young Elites. If you caught that review, you know that the first book didn’t do a great job of pulling me in. Unfortunately, this sequel, The Rose Society, didn’t have much better luck. Although, the darkness became almost addicting to read. I was fascinated by reading the inner calculations of someone so consumed with destruction. Continue reading →
The Young Elites by Marie Lu is a novel set in a different time and possibly different dimension. (It never states what dimension it is but they have 3 moons, so I assume it is different.) It follows Adelina, a girl struggling to live a life of a cursed one with special powers. The “blood fever,” an illness that swept through the land killing all adults and many children it touched. Most children that did not die became marked with physical deformities. Continue reading →
Every girl has a girl crush…maybe even more than one. One of mine happens to be Kate Hudson. Seriously, I want her to be my best friend. So I always get pretty psyched about seeing her taking on a new project. And in addition to all of the other stuff she does (new movies like Mother’s Day, Fabletics clothing line, parenting), she is now working on a new television series, “The Barbary Coast.” It is a new series set during the era of the Californian Gold Rush, and since I am a history buff, I am also pretty excited about this part, too. There was a time not very long ago that I just didn’t understand all of the hype around the superhero movies. I didn’t read comics, I didn’t purchase superhero paraphernalia, and I didn’t watch superheroes on television or the big screen. Don’t get me wrong, I had seen some superhero TV shows (Justice League cartoon, anyone?) and had even seen a Spiderman movie and the original X-Men trilogy. Continue reading →
