One Last Self-Indulgence: SUNDAY FUNDAY

by T. Mack

I’ve used this week’s rotation (Monday’s “Quotable”, Wednesday’s “Geek Chic” and today’s “Sunday Funday”) to indulge in a bit of wallowing over my feelings for ***SPOILER ALERT*** the recent demise of **END ALERT*** “Olicity” on the CW show, Arrow. And I’m sorry about that… sort of. But on the other hand, I’m totally not. Because this is my site and I can geek out about whatever I want… even if it’s the fictional relationship of two people I don’t know that gives me more feels than is reasonable or rational. So with that in mind, here’s my last indulgence: a fan-made video of Olicity looks, smiles, declarations and other special moments set to the soft, sad, beautiful voice of Ed Sheeran.

Wednesday’s episode of Arrow let us know that ***SPOILER ALERT*** (at least for a while) we must process, accept and deal with the fact that Olicity is no more. I’m hoping this doesn’t last long. But even if it does, I’m holding out hope. In my opinion, this show has set up Oliver and Felicity as a couple from the beginning. From their very first encounters, there was the promise of something. And I am trusting that the CW will keep that promise and put these two crazy kids together at the end of this series, whenever that may be. ***END ALERT*** If you’re an Olicity shipper like me and you want a little more indulgence today, take a look at these other fan-made videos:

Think my shipping obsession is a bit much? What couples have you shipped that broke your heart? On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being you never think about it and 10 being you wait with baited breath for it every episode), how much do you miss Stephen Amell’s shirtless workout sessions from the first season of Arrow? Give me your thoughts in the comments below.
