May 6, 2016 is almost here! I am getting pretty excited for the latest installment in the Marvel Universe. Captain America: Civil War will be upon us before you know it, and the movie bigwigs just love to keep teasing us. Two new TV spots and still images were just released. Check them out.
These clips may not offer much new information, but they do a great job of hyping up the fans, which is exactly what Marvel wants. It’s going to be very interesting to see the Avengers fighting each other, but I just can’t bring myself to pick a side. I am going to be watching this one strictly for the storyline. No playing favorites here. No matter how many times I see Chris Evans shirtless. I will not be swayed!
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6th.
Will you be seeing the film? What are you looking forward to the most? Will you be picking a side?
This is an opening night viewing for me. I’ve told friends to book the babysitters NOW so they can join me!
