The CW is developing a series based on the bestselling 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks, which was turned into a film starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in 2004. If picked up to series, the show would focus on the main characters’ (Noah and Allie) time as young lovers and likely not include the older versions of them that we see in the film. flash_and_flash6. A X-Men Live-Action TV Series is in the Works

FOX is currently in the final stages of development of plans to launch a live-action X-Men series. While the band of mutants have seen much success in film over the course of the last decade, they have not managed to have nearly the same level on the small screen. The last time X-Men was great on TV was in the mid 1990’s when the popular (and totally awesome) animated series ran from 1992-1997. FOX is in talks with Marvel to make the new show happen, though even if it does, it will not be able to connect with the current Marvel Cinematic Universe. (full story here)

7. Mortal Kombat Reboot is Coming
