Is it true? Are we getting yet another Ghostbusters movie?? Well, according to Drew Pearce, the writer most recently responsible for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, we definitely are! And this time it will be all-male! And Pearce wants Chris Pratt and Channing Tatum to sign on to headline the show. Chris Pratt and Channing Tatum?? Um, yes, please! Although Pearce is being coy about whether Tatum and Pratt will actually be cast, I choose to believe it into existence. Marvel fans will appreciate that Pearce has tapped the Russo brothers to take helm on the project and “run with it.” The same Russo brothers behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War. Ivan Reitman, the man credited with the original Ghostbusters, has also been brought on board. So I am thinking that with Drew Pearce and the Russo brothers there should be quite a bit of action going on in this remake!!

But what does this mean for the currently-in-production all-female Ghostbusters? Hard to tell right now but considering that Pearce wants the two remakes to exist in the same world maybe it means we could get a future co-ed ghost busting team?? Personally, while I am definitely looking forward to Channing (we are on a first-name basis) and Chris (yep, first-name basis again) on-screen professing their love for me fighting evil ghosts, I am really looking forward to all of the all-girl badassery that will come from the female cast! Girl power always trumps. Sorry, boys!

Are you happy about another remake? Who would you cast in an all-male cast? Are you more excited to see the all-female cast or all-male cast? Let me know in the comments!
