This one is for our Sister Geek, Dani. She’s totally gonna “Squee!”
Most people will remember Charisma Carpenter as Cordelia Chase from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off, Angel. In recent years, Carptenter has been serving up stories of real-life horror on the Investigation Discovery network show, Surviving Evil. This Fall, she gets back to her roots by joining the new horror-comedy Scream Queens along-side Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michelle and more. According to Deadline, Carpenter will guest star (and possibly recur) as the mother of Ariana Grande’s character.
The new show will premier on Fox Tuesday, September 22. The anthology series comes from Ryan Murphy, creator of American Horror Story and Glee, among others. Murphy has developed this new show with his Glee co-creators, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. We’re expecting some really good (and very naughty) things from this show. We’ll be checking it out. Will you? Let us know in the comments.
